Deborah Rifkin, assistant professor of music theory, presented a paper at this year's conference of the Society for American Music, which was held March 18-22 in Denver.

The paper was titled, "Telling a Textured Tale: A Feminist Music Analysis of Jennifer Higdon's blue cathedral."

Join us as witnesses to the crisis of displacement in Colombia. Colombian filmmaker Jorge Daniel Vallejo presents Las Chingas, a documentary about the violence in inner-city Colombia, on Thursday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. in room 206 of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.
