In spring 2007, faculty and staff were given the opportunity to provide input into the creation of an ethics and integrity policy that would continue the College's commitment to excellence in creating a workplace built on respect and ethical behavior.

An important component of this policy is a provision that allows an individual, who may not feel comfortable working directly with a supervisor to address compliance concerns related to federal and state laws and/or College policy, to exercise the ability to contact an external reporting site to report perceived violations.

Starting Tuesday, March 4, at noon, the Partnerships in Sustainability Education program kicks off a new opportunity for faculty who are interested in infusing sustainability-related content into their courses. This Spring, the "Sustainability Brown Bag" series will be held on the first Tuesday of each month from noon to 1pm in the Gerontology Institute Conference Room, 4th floor of the Center for Health Sciences.

Lisa Voyticki, ’07, and So Hyeon Park, an exchange student from Korea, are the proud winners of the 2007 Leonard J. Raymond Collegiate Bronze ECHO award, sponsored by Litle & Co.

Arhlene Flowers, assistant professor in the Department of Strategic Communication, served as the students’ advisor.

The 2007 competition, which was conducted during the Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 semesters, attracted entries from undergraduate and graduate colleges nationwide. There were 65 entries in this year's competition. Experienced direct and interactive marketing professionals judged the entries, including Litle & Co. senior marketing team members, and officers and members of the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

The Office of the Bursar and the Office of Financial Aid are combining to become Student Financial Services (SFS). The Cashiering Services Office is now part of Financial Services.

Due to this reorganization, student transactions and departmental transactions at the bursar's office service window have been split and assigned separate work stations.

The Women's Chorale and Chorus, under the direction of Janet Galvan, will present a program entitled "Everybody Dance Now!" on Thursday, March 6, at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. The program includes music about dance from Poland, Hungary, and South America, among others.
