The colloquium series, a noon-time Thursday series of talks by college scholars, features work with an international focus. The topic of the next colloquium is "The Anti-Colonial Classroom: Pedagogical Strategies for Including Anti-Colonial Texts in the Course." Anjali Nerlekar and Laurel Tucker, assistant professors of English, and Jonathan Ablard and Jason Freitag, assistant professors of history, who comprise the Colloquium for Colonial and Postcolonial Studies, present their recent work. Teaching Talk and Tips is a new format from the Center for Faculty Excellence. It combines features of teaching workshops and brown bag lunch conversations.

Anyone teaching here can propose a question, a day and time, and even a location to Susanne Morgan. She will locate some resources on the topic, find a space if necessary, and publicize the event. Any resources produced will become part of the Center for Faculty Excellence website.
