Their website, which can be viewed at https://www.ithaca.edu/aaf, was launched recently by sophomore IMC student and member Peter Pasco. He says the new design and layout is a better reflection of our Ithaca AAF and will be utilized as a more resourceful site. The new design includes features such as a blog-like home page, a portfolio of the chapter's past work, and a page of links to some of the top advertising agencies in the world and other great resources. Susan Orlean, veteran staff writer for “The New Yorker,” will visit Ithaca College on Thursday, April 12, to give a free talk, “A Writer’s Life.” Orlean’s discussion of her career path and what it means to be a writer will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall.

John Scott, assistant professor in the television-radio department, had his documentary, Scouts are Cancelled, selected for the the Hot Docs Documentary Film Festival in Toronto. The film is a surprising and cinematic story of an underdog character who finds his "voice" as a telemarketer.
