Intro to Linguistics counts as a Humanities course for Identities or World of Systems. It's also a flexible, work-at-your-own-pace course that you can take from anywhere.

Ithaca College will hold a shelter-in-place drill on the morning of Tuesday, June 25, in the Facilities Administration Building on Farm Pond Road. The building will be completely closed to the public from 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Any incoming phone calls—including service requests—during that time will be forwarded to the Office of Public Safety.

Only the Facilities Administration Building will be involved in the drill. All other nearby buildings and operations, including the warehouse, vehicle rental and service shop, and print shop, will remain open for business during that time. The rest of the campus will also be unaffected.

Dear campus community,

We have some sad news to share with the Ithaca College community, as former member of the board of trustees Kurt Wolfgruber ’72 passed away on June 17 after battling cancer for the past several months. 

On behalf of the college, we want to convey our condolences to Kurt’s family, especially his wife, Kim, and his children, Derek, Christian, Hayley, and Heidi. We also offer our sympathies to his many IC friends and colleagues who had the pleasure of working with Kurt, during both his decade of service on the board from 2007 to 2017 and in his many college-related activities.
