This is a popular writing course that invites students to mine their personal experiences for stories. The specific timeframe is Monday, May 20, (the day after Commencement) through Friday, August 9. In addition to the replacement of the 50+-year-old boilers – which provide heat to Job Hall, Friends Hall, Textor Hall and Muller Faculty Center – the infrastructure (piping, etc.) that currently resides within the ceiling of the walking corridor connecting these four buildings will also be replaced. Plowbreak Farm, owned and operated by Kara Cusolito '08 and Aaron Munzer '08, will again be offering locally grown vegetable CSA shares to the Ithaca College community, with a convenient pick-up site at the Peggy R. Williams Center on Wednesdays, and a downtown pickup on Thursdays at the Westy, a local beer garden. The farm is located in Hector, about twenty miles from the college, and grows six acres of produce in fields and greenhouses that overlook Seneca Lake.
