Plowbreak Farm, owned and operated by Kara Cusolito '08 and Aaron Munzer '08, will again be offering locally grown vegetable CSA shares to the Ithaca College community, with a convenient pick-up site at the Peggy R. Williams Center on Wednesdays, and a downtown pickup on Thursdays at the Westy, a local beer garden. The farm is located in Hector, about twenty miles from the college, and grows six acres of produce in fields and greenhouses that overlook Seneca Lake.

The Newark Valley Fire Department is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross to honor the memory of Kelly Perkins, the Ithaca College first-year student who was killed in an automobile accident on March 4. The drive will take place on Monday, April 15, from 1:00–6:00 p.m. at the Newark Valley Fire Hall, located at 7151 State Route 38 in Newark Valley.

Jack Wang, associate professor in the Department of Writing, has been awarded a two-month residency in the summer of 2020 at Historic Joy Kogawa House in Vancouver, where he will work on his novel-in-progress entitled The Riveters, about Chinese Canadians who serve in both wartime industries and the military during the Second World War to prove their loyalty to country and win the franchise.
