Through the study and practice of different mindfulness exercises, we will build capacity for attention regulation, emotion regulation, cognitive regulation, and compassion. Through weekly journaling students will reflect on how these capacities shape their learning experience and how they know what they know. We end the course with student presentations of their learning and plans for continued use of these new skills for self-knowing and learning. Pass/Fail. 1 credit. No prerequisites. LA.
