(341 words) Reminder to Move Cars Parked on City Streets Scheduled for CleaningContributed by David Maley on 03/21/19 The City of Ithaca Department of Public Works plans to begin street cleaning operations on Monday, April 1, with some South Hill streets early on the schedule. Residents who park on the street should watch for signs and check on their cars daily from April 1–30. Affected streets will be posted as “No Parking Zones” 24 hours in advance of the cleaning. The posted signs are intended for the entire block, and all vehicles that remain on the street after the posted time will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. If you will be away during this time, please make alternate parking arrangements for your vehicle. Read more . . .
