On February 3, 2019 WSKG Public Media Group will make the first programmatic shift at its two radio stations since launching in 1975.  WSKG-FM (NPR) will convert to all News and WSQX-FM will convert to all Classical Music with some jazz and weekend folk.  Ithaca College students enrolled in a Fall 2016 public relations senior capstone course,  “Lab16,” made key recommendations that are cited as supportive in making the change by the media group serving 21 counties in the Central New York area.

Take a trip this spring with Alternative Spring Break! OSE is looking for one IC student who will be 21 years of age before March 10, 2019, and has two years of driving experience to help drive Ithaca College vans for a trip to the upper Outer Banks region of North Carolina OR Pittsburgh, PA, during spring break! Students will be volunteering with the North Carolina Coastal Federation, which utilizes a variety of programs to protect the North Carolina Coast from habitat loss. Or, students will be assisting the Pittsburgh Project, which helps low income residents in the north Pittsburgh neighborhood with critical home repair projects. Aside from getting the chance to travel and make a difference, ASB drivers receive a significant reduction on their trip fee!

Come support the men's and women's basketball teams this Saturday (1/26),  as they dedicate their games to Ithaca College Unites for HER, an organization that works to raise money to provide complementary services to those diagnosed with breast cancer in the Ithaca College community! The women's game start at 2pm, and the men's at 4pm in the Ben Light Gymnasium (Hill Gym). Please wear pink to show your support!
