Where do great ideas come from? Can we become better at generating them? A series of significant challenges are posed, and a rich variety of creativity techniques and principles are introduced to meet them. Creativity skills that will apply in many contexts are developed. Interested in learning about Ithaca's history? Join Embrace Magazine on ThursdayNov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Park Auditorium for a screening of Civil Warriors, a narrative film that details the untold stories of two Ithaca families whose men fought in the Civil War as a part of the U.S. Colored Troops. Panel discussion with the filmmakers to follow.

This past Saturday, October 27th, Will Carlson '20 and Sarah Horbacewicz '20 of WICB's News Department placed first and second respectively in the "Best Audio Newscast" category at the annual College Broadcasters, Inc. National Student Electronic Media Convention in Seattle, Washington. News Director Hannah Breisinger accepted the award on Will's behalf.

At the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, WICB took third for "Four-Year Radio Station of the Year" in the College Media Association's Pinnacle Awards. Justin Bertolero '19, Emma Nigrosh '19, Jenny Gil '19 and Sean McGoldrick '20 accepted the award.
