The purpose of this announcement is to provide you with an update regarding changes underway that will impact how you connect to many of the college’s information systems, including email.  These changes are necessary due to a significant increase in information security related criminal activity targeting higher education institutions including Ithaca College.

One of the most visible changes will be the phasing in of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for access to college email and other Office 365 applications (see below).

This four-credit, liberal-arts course is open to all. Introduction to Journalism will be offered online during Summer Session I from May 29 - June 29. Students will learn the two main forms of news writing and AP Style, and contribute to discussions about objectivity, media bias and current events.

Register for JOUR 11100 Intro to Journalism (CRN 10083). All are welcome, and there are no prerequisites.

Special Topics in Sports Journalism will be offered online during Summer Session II from July 2-Aug. 3, and is an excellent way to learn about reporting game stories, writing columns and reviews, and announcing for radio and television sports.

 All students are welcome to participate in a service trip the week after finals from Sunday May 13 to Friday May 18. Students will volunteer at the Romero Center in Camden, NJ and participate in their Urban Challenge program. You will work at a variety of social service agencies throughout the week including soup kitchens and after school programs.
