Looking for a Spring 2018 Intermediate Art Class? Intermediate Drawing runs on Mon/Wed from 9-11:40. If you have taken Beginning Drawing (including any ICC drawing course) you have the prerequisite for this course. It is a class that builds off of Beginning Drawing- but branches in new directions such as mapping, bacteria drawing, drawing as installation and using watercolor, gouache and mixed media in your drawings.

"Drawing enables the visualization and development of perceptions and ideas. With a history as long as the history of our culture, the act of drawing remains a fundamental means to translate, document, record and analyze the worlds we inhabit. The role of drawing in education remains critical, and not just to the creative disciplines in art and design for which it is foundational."

-Anita Taylor

**This course will satisfy 3 credits of the Education Studies Minor Restricted Electives Coursework Requirements.

**ICC themes/perspectives designations: Identities and Power & Justice/ Humanities, Liberal Arts, and Social Sciences
