Handbell Concert, December 2nd!

 The Handbell Choir is having a Winter Concert on December 2nd at 5:00pm in Muller Chapel! Enjoy some movie music, classical, and holiday favorites, all played by IC's two handbell choirs. Pieces include "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid, "Processional Jubilee," "Call Me Maybe," "Zip-a-Dee Doo Dah," Holiday medleys and more!

Emergency Snow Plowing Plan

The Residence Hall Snow Plowing Plan has been established to increase campus safety, increase the thoroughness of plowing efforts and reduce the time it takes to plow in parking lots generally used by residence hall students.

Members of the TCIRC (Tompkins Co. Immigrant Rights Coalition) will be reporting back from their participation in the 2nd Border Encuentro at the U.S./Mexico border in Ambos Nogales, AZ/Sonora. Beth Harris, Ute Ritz-Deutch, Patricia Rodriguez (Politics) and two IC Politics students (Abby Haley and Michael Mulvey, funded by the Politics Dept. Student Grant for Socially Engaged Research and Activism) are part of the Encuentro, and will be reporting on the work of communities and social movements in Latin America and the U.S. doing grassroots resistance to oppressive militarization policies at borders and beyond, and generating proposals for alternative policies surrounding immigration issues.

What can we learn and apply locally (in Tompkins Co.) from the organizing of immigrant and indigenous communities and groups in and near the southern border?

Please join the Central NY Fulbright Association Chapter on Tuesday, December 12 at 7pm for the Hangar Theatre’s exciting new production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol—a new adaptation by Cornell University’s Aoise Stratford starring Fulbright alumnus David Studwell as Ebenezer Scrooge.
