Due to the enthusiastic response to our Conversations after Charlottesville discussion series, all sessions are now at capacity. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to revisit the possibility of further discussion sessions in the future.

Submitted on behalf of Staff Council.

On 9/5/2017, President Collado sent a message to the campus community condemning the decision by the Trump Administration to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and to assert that the College will participate fully in the advocacy efforts within higher education to ensure the protection of the over 800,000 young people affected.  On 9/21/2017 the Ithaca College Staff Council met and approved a motion affirming the college’s values as expressed by President Collado and as reflected in the Faculty-Staff-Student Council’s value statement issued in April 2017.  The Faculty Council passed a similar motion on 9/5/2017.

I am looking for a volunteer who is interested in guiding middle school students who love music for a project with LACS school in Ithaca.  The project connects composition and computers, so the volunteer needs to have some experience with composition and with computers but does not have to be an "expert".
