(86 words) Stewart Auyash presents about Global Health Communication in Norway.Contributed by Deborah Wuest on 06/28/17 On April 6, 2017, Stewart Auyash, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education presented a lecture and led a discussion on the topic of “Global Public Health Communication” to the faculty and students from the School of Arts and Physical Education and School of Media and Journalism at Volda University College in Volda, Norway. Among the many interesting public health questions posed by students was this one: “Is it true that in America, people wear their shoes inside their homes?” Volda University College is located in a small town on the west coast of Norway, but their perspective is global. Their four faculties offer a variety of courses in their subject areas: Humanities and Education, Social Sciences and History, Art and Physical Education and Media and Journalism. The University College refers to itself as ‘The place you’ll never forget.” Savoyards Ithaca presents Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer at the Cornell Schwartz Center: 7:30 PM, June 27 and 28.
