Art Majors, Minors and Art enthusiasts are welcome!

The Creative Space Gallery is a satellite of the Ithaca College Art Department. CSG is student-run and is a venue for exhibition, creation and education.

It will take place from 4:30-6 on Tues 2/28. You will also have a chance to meet our Visiting Artist Martinez EB.

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women’s basketball team (24-3) has earned the right to host the first two rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship and will play Rochester Institute of Technology (19-8) inside Ben Light Gymnasium on Friday, March 3. Bowdoin College (21-4) and SUNY New Paltz (18-8) will also travel to Ithaca for the four-team regional. The winners of the two contests will play on Saturday, March 4.

GAME TIMES:
Friday, March 3 - Bowdoin vs. New Paltz - 5 p.m.
Friday, March 3 - Ithaca vs. RIT - 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 4 - First Round Winners - 5 p.m.

TICKET PRICES:
$7 for adults
$4 for youth, students and senior citizens
(IC students, faculty and staff are admitted for FREE with school ID - provided by the athletic department)

Ithaca College has had a programmatic partnership with Longview – An Ithacare Community for the past 17 years.  Longview is a retirement community located on Danby Road up from the College’s main entrance.  It is run by the Ithacare Center Service Company, Inc.As part of the partnership between Ithaca College and Longview, a student board member position was created for the Ithacare Board a number of years ago.  This was created to provide a student with an educational and leadership opportunity and to encourage student input into aspects of the Board function that touch on the IC/LV Partnership.  There will be an opening for a student member for the academic year 2017-2018.

 Congratulations to Lauren McGrath (EM, '17), Lauren Suna (EM, '20), Mia Kimmich Mitchell (CS,'18) and Tea Mdevadze (CS, '20) for winning the "Best Hardware Hack" at the RIT WiCHacks event held February 25 and 26 in Rochester, NY.

Zoom is an online web conferencing tool available to all students, faculty, and staff that can be used on any device. It's great for collaboration, screen sharing, teaching remotely, and more. In addition to some custom Webinars for IC done by Zoom Staff, DIIS is offering some hands-on in person workshops in the TLC, Friends 101.

Intro to Zoom Hands-on Training (TLC, Friends 101)

This in-person session will introduce participants to the Zoom Web Conferencing system at IC.  After a brief presentation and demonstration of key settings, features and common use cases, participants will be able to log into zoom, customize their profile settings, and join a meeting.  Events.ithaca.edu - Please click "I'm going" and download the calendar file.

La Muna 
Natalia Serna, aka La Muna, is a Colombian-American musician and sociologist that moved to the border city of Nogales, Sonora as a volunteer at the Kino Border Initiative Soup Kitchen. Corazόn Norte has  been presented at migrant soup kitchens, detention centers, universities and theaters across Mexico, Guatemala and the U.S. Her music on social justice has been used by the Discovery Channel, Two America’s film, Jesuit Refugee Services, Bread for the World, and Creighton Backpacker film El Deportado, among others.
