Longview is a retirement community located on Danby Road up from the College’s main entrance. It is run by the Ithacare Center Service Company, Inc.As part of the partnership between Ithaca College and Longview, a student board member position was created for the Ithacare Board a number of years ago. This was created to provide a student with an educational and leadership opportunity and to encourage student input into aspects of the Board function that touch on the IC/LV Partnership. Zoom is an online web conferencing tool available to all students, faculty, and staff that can be used on any device. It's great for collaboration, screen sharing, teaching remotely, and more. In addition to some custom Webinars for IC done by Zoom Staff, DIIS is offering some hands-on in person workshops in the TLC, Friends 101. Intro to Zoom Hands-on Training (TLC, Friends 101) This in-person session will introduce participants to the Zoom Web Conferencing system at IC. After a brief presentation and demonstration of key settings, features and common use cases, participants will be able to log into zoom, customize their profile settings, and join a meeting.
