Naeem Inayatullah (and David Blaney, Macalester College) published “The Costs of Weaponizing Emancipatory Politics: Constituting what is Constitutive of Capitalism" in, Spectrum: Journal of Global Studies, 8(1), 2016, pp. 46-69.  

The article asks whether capitalism's relation to racism, sexism, colonialism, ecological plunder, and Eurocentrism is logically necessary or merely historically correlative.
