This message is to inform the campus community of the cloud recording policy for Zoom. All Zoom meetings and webinars that are recorded in Zoom’s cloud storage are automatically deleted after 120 days. If there is a specific need to save meeting/webinar recordings long-term, Information Technology recommends downloading the files from Zoom and uploading them into Kaltura (media.ithaca.edu).

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Claudia Ayers, long-time employee at Ithaca College, passed away in her home with her family on July 2 after a courageous 2+ years living with cancer. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her.

We appreciate your patience while we work out what the phasing-in process will look like, identify who will be invited to return to campus and when, and discern what types of flexibility will be needed around the delivery methods of courses in those first weeks.

Assistant Professor Fae Dremock, Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences,  participated in the Essential Toolkit for Climate Educators workshop/conference sponsored by the Rachel Carson Center (RCC) for Environment and Society (Munich, Germany), July 2-3. The workshop's primary, tangible purpose was to produce a globally accessible climate educator's existential toolkit, including pre-conference lightning videos by educators. A secondary purpose was to cultivate a global network of people working on the climate crisis. The 28 videos, including Fae’s (https://youtu.be/eUrwR3qvJVU ) can be seen on the RCC YouTube Channel.

As announced earlier in the spring semester, Adobe had supplied temporary at-home access (through the student's college account) to Adobe Creative Cloud desktop applications beginning in March of this year. Per the recent Intercom announcement, this interim at-home access provided by Adobe expires July 6, 2020.

Adobe has announced an extension of this program through August 15, 2020 for summer school students that require access to these applications.
