The City of Ithaca Police Department (IPD) is once again urging anyone who might have been near the area where Anthony Nazaire ’19 was stabbed to death early on the morning of Aug. 28 on the Cornell University campus to share any details—especially photos or video footage—that might be helpful in their investigation.

September is National Fruits & Veggies - More Matters Month and we are celebrating by Putting Fruit to Work during the week of September 19-23, in conjunction with the Tompkins Country Worksite Wellness Coalition. The USDA recommends that individuals make half their plate fruits and vegetables for meals and snacks.

The Distinguished Visiting Writers Series kicks off its 2016-17 season with a reading by poet Ada Limón. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place in Clark Lounge in Campus Center on Monday, September 19 at 7:30 PM, and will be followed by a Q&A and book-signing.

The International Center of Photography Museum in New York City hosted a presentation and readings on September 8th by Image Text Ithaca (ITI) MFA Co-Directors Nicholas Muellner (Cinema and Photography) and Catherine Taylor (Writing) along with recent ITI Fellows Lucas Blalock and Andre Bradley, whose book of photography and memoir, Dark Archives, was published recently by the Image Text Ithaca Press. 

The Longview/Ithaca College Shuttle will not be available for at least the next few days due to unexpected mechanical issues.  An Intercom notice will be posted as soon as the shuttle is back in service.
