While DIIS expects that all computing systems and services will remain online and accessible from off campus during the power outage, there is the possibility of extended system downtime for any system or service due to unanticipated problems. In “Challenges for Social-Change Organizing in Rural Areas,” she investigates the numerous obstacles faced by rural organizers and activists working on environmental, justice, equity, and human rights issues. F. Stone Hall of Fame. As a result of this week’s work we have made significant progress in modernizing our campus network infrastructure. We have replaced critical network hardware that was over 8 years old, and made a number of configuration changes to improve redundancy and availability. While a huge step forward, there is still work that is needed to further improve reliability and functionally of our network infrastructure for the campus. Pending no unforeseen circumstances, the remaining work planned for this summer will require less downtime and disruption. More details will be forthcoming.
