Schlather, along with his regular collaborator Geoffrey McDonald, have been named on a year-end list of ten pivotal moments in 2015 opera performance in NYC by WQXR radio for their production of Handel's "Orlando" in April. We are currently seeking an adviser for the volunteer trip to Salamanca, NY, where students will work at a youth center located on the Seneca Nation of Indians Allegany Territory, Students on this trip will have the opportunity to learn more about the dynamics between native and non-native peoples living in the area. In addition, one adviser will be needed for the trip to Kiptopeke State Park in Cape Charles, Virginia, where students will engage in a variety of park preservation and maintenance projects.
