As one of the top scholars in the field of kinesiology in China, Dr. CHEN’s major research interest includes exercise and health, sports medicine, youth physical fitness etc. As a key researcher, Dr. Chen has received numerous research and teaching award from the state, Shanghai municipal city and professional organizations.  He has published more than 80 papers in the field (20+ on SCI indexed journals). He also has five patents. He has many titles including the Vice President of Asian Council of Exercise and Sports Science (ACESS), Council of China Sport Science Society (CSSS) etc.  

 We are looking for infants who are 5 month old, born within 3 weeks of due date, weighing less than 30 lbs., have not yet started to crawl on hands and knees and are developing typically.

The Park School will host a live event on Friday, September 25 featuring an alumni judging panel and live audience voting. Students will have 3-4 minutes to pitch their idea for a chance to win a share of $1000.

With your help, we are hoping to create an app that will help with the expansion of the Traditions Challenge. Currently, the challenge is a program for first-year students only, however the app will allow current students as well as alumni to partake in connecting with the IC and Ithaca community!

Students have an opportunity to volunteer at Taughannock and Robert Treman State Parks or Syracuse Rescue Mission during IC's fall break this year!

From October 15 through October 18, students can help the regional park system with their fall season outdoor projects, or work with the Syracuse Rescue Mission, which serves homeless and economically disadvantaged residents in and around Syracuse.

This is a great opportunity to meet new friends, and your fall break enjoying central New York! 

There are 6 spaces available for both trips. This trip will fill on a first come, first served basis. The cost for each trip is $75.00, and covers all expenses.

Student Activities Board will be showing Jurrasic World in Textor 101 September 24th-27th at 8:00! Didn’t get a chance to see it in theatres? Saw it in theatres and have been dying to see it again? Come, bring your friends, and enjoy a free movie night. All are welcome!

Student Activities Board will be hosting a laser tag challenge event on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 6-9 on the Campus Center Quad. Come by at any point of the event with a team of 5 players, all “equipment” will be provided, and it is on a first come first served basis.

The Ithaca College Center for Health Promotion has sponsored the administration of the IC Student Health Survey biannually since 2003. We use the National College Health Assessment (NCHA) web-based survey instrument hosted by the American College Health Association. The NCHA is a nationally recognized tool for assessing and tracking the health behaviors and attitudes of college students.
