Entitled “Maximizing Efficiency in Transfer Student Advising,” his presentation will focus on Ithaca College’s success in providing structure and support to incoming transfer students. Topics covered will include the credit-bearing Ithaca College Transfer Seminar and the Peer Leader Student Ambassador program. Established in 1979, NACADA has a membership of over 11,000 higher education professionals, and a mission that focuses on the theory, research, and practice of academic advising in higher education.
