The nomination process is now open for the Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership. This award is Ithaca College's recognition of outstanding juniors and seniors, who excel in academic achievement, perform service to the College community, and represents an exemplary level of accomplishment. The names of students selected for the award will then be submitted to the national Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Volunteer Appreciation Day is finally here on November 8!

Enjoy the November Service Saturday with a complementary breakfast, gift card raffle, and some great volunteering opportunities. It’s going to be a blast!

Students can choose to volunteer with one of three different sites:

  • Family Reading Partnership's Kids Books Festival
  • Tompkins County Public Library
  • South Hill Elementary School

Volunteer Appreciation Day only comes once a semester so make sure to sign up. Service Saturdays is your chance to make a difference the fun and easy way!

Several stipends are still available for faculty interested in teaching 1 credit hour block II mini courses in conjunction with the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival.  Faculty from all departments are encouraged to offer mini courses. Mini courses should be designed to take advantage of FLEFF films and events. FLEFF will run from April 6-12, 2015. The theme for this year’s Festival is Habitats.
