The staff trustee position on the Board of Trustees, currently held by Sybil Conrad, is up for re-election at the May 2020 board meeting for a four-year term beginning June 1, 2020.

Applications are being accepted through Monday, March 30th at 11:59pm (this is one week later than the original deadline).  Interested staff members should submit a letter of interest along with a resume to the Staff Council Executive Committee at staffcouncil@ithaca.edu.  The Staff Council Executive Committee will select three individuals from this pool to be forwarded to the Board for their decision regarding the one position. At its May 2020 meeting the Board will elect the next Staff Trustee, whose four-year term will begin on June 1, 2020.

As a result of campus closures, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is not available. Adobe is providing temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty, so that they can continue their work remotely, through May 31, 2020.

These policies are being implemented in the interests of the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors.

As the situation surrounding the novel coronavirus Covid-19 and it's impact continues to evolve there are students who have been permitted to remain on campus or in Ithaca under exceptional circumstances. These students may be experiencing an urgent need for accessible food options, and Swipe Out Hunger meal passes can help offset their need to spend their limited funds on food, allowing them to re-allocate their resources for other needs during this unprecedented time.

The Fall Funding Process is SGC's way to counter the delay in funding at the beginning of the fall semester. Organizations are given the ability to submit budgets for the fall semester during this time to get funding for their programs, trips, and operational expenses for Block I.
