IC Kicks Back Needs You!

Calling all volunteers for this year’s IC Kicks Back! We need a grand total of 30 volunteers to help with various jobs throughout the afternoon. Some jobs include:

-Maintaining lines for the inflatables and photo booths

-Checking IDs

-Taking photos of the event

A FREE IC Kicks Back T-shirt will be included!

The Fitness Center will be open with reduced hours from Friday 4/18/14 - 4/20/2014.  Please see below for the daily hours:

Friday 4/18: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Saturday 4/19: 11:00am - 5:00pm

Sunday 4/20: 11:00am - 2:00pm

We will resume our normal semester hours at 7:00am on Monday 4/21.

The "Arab spring," credited with beginning at the end of 2010, has involved civil uprisings in 18 countries, the removal of five heads of state, and waves of populist resistance in countries far from the Middle East, including our own. It's hard to keep track. There are few people better equipped to help make sense of it all than Stephen Zunes, PhD, one of the foremost U.S. scholars of Middle East affairs and of strategic nonviolent action.

Dr. Zunes will speak in Textor 102 on Wednesday, April 16, 7:00 p.m., on "Democracy Uprisings in the Middle East: Victories and Setbacks."

Cass Spencer, Award-winning Creative Director and Art Director, will give a lecture titled "Data Visualization: A conversation about design, magazines, and journalism in the era of big data” on Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m., Park Hall Auditorium.
