If you will be studying abroad in the summer or fall on an affiliated, non-affiliated, or exchange program (NOT the London Center), and you have not yet met an adviser in the Office of International Programs to go over required Ithaca College paperwork, please be sure to schedule an appointment ASAP. If this paperwork is not done, you may not be able to get credit or eligible financial aid for your study abroad program.  

In addition to meeting with an adviser in the Office of International Programs, all students going abroad on an affiliated, non-affiliated, or exchange program must attend a series of study abroad orientations.

Come join Nutrition Club this Thursday, April 4th in Hill 56 12:10-1pm as we hear from HPPE lecturer and clinical nutritionist, Kelly Cleason-Kelly, MA, MACN, CNC.

Kelly specializes in green juice and raw food detox programs and elimination diets and is the recent director of the Be Juicy cleanse for Terawarner.com. She will be sharing her expertise in the area of raw foods and detox diets, and her work as a nutritionist. You don't want to miss it!

Dan O'Shannon, an executive producer and writer of the hit show Modern Family, will serve as this year's Park Distinguished Visitor. His visit, previously set for October, has been rescheduled for April 2-4.

While at Ithaca College, O'Shannon will give a public presentation, host a writer's workshop, and speak in various classes.

The Media Alliance for People & the Planet (MAPP) is proud to host IC alumna Kate Sheppard, environmental reporter for independent magazine Mother Jones (this year's Izzy Award recipient).

Kate will be giving a public lecture on media representations of environmental issues and how we can do a better job. An informal Q&A session will occur after the lecture. The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Park Auditorium.

On Modern Family, Eric Stonestreet’s character, Cam, is known for his vibrant wardrobe.

In conjunction with Dan O'Shannon's visit to campus, the Roy H. Park School of Communications was given one of Cam's button-down shirts to raffle for charity.

Tickets will be for sale on Sunday, March 24 before Prism's Lipsyncing For Life Drag Show in Emerson Suites. Tickets will also be for sale in Campus Center at various times throughout April 2-3 as well as prior to Dan O'Shannon's lecture on April 4.

Romanian-born award-winning playwright and poet Saviana Stanescu, author of the acclaimed plays "Aliens With Extraordinary Skills" (produced off-Broadway at Women's Project, New York; in regional US theatres; in Mexico, in the Spanish version: Inmigrantes con Habilidades Extraordinarias, in Turkey, Romania, etc), "Lenin's Shoe", "Ants", "For a Barbarian Woman", and "Waxing West" (winner of 2007 New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Script), will talk about writing/performing the immigrant experience.
