(48 words) Dr. Cory Young Appointed as Assistant Director of Ithaca College Honors ProgramContributed by Jeane Copenhaver-Johnson on 01/28/20 Dr. Cory Young, Associate Professor of Strategic Communication, has been selected to serve as the Assistant Director of the Ithaca College Honors Program from January 2020 through May 2022. Dr. Young is a former Interim Assistant Director of the Honors Program (Fall 2018) and has been actively involved in the program as an advisor and course instructor. She possesses a distinguished record as a faculty member committed to advising, to interdisciplinary curricular exploration, and to intellectual rigor. Her leadership responsibilities will include the areas of admissions, advising, assessment, and program planning, and she will serve as an ex officio member of the Honors Program Steering Committee. Many thanks are extended to Dr. Alicia Swords (Director of Honors), Omar Stoute (Project Coordinator for Honors), and the members of the Honors Steering Committee who served as representatives during the screening process (Dr. Jonathan Ablard and Dr. Brooks Miner).
