Kutler is currently serving in his 10th year in that position at Ithaca College and his tenure has been marked by significant upgrades to the college’s athletic facilities, tremendous advances in Title IX compliance, growth in fundraising initiatives, enhancements in the recruitment of student athletes, and expansion of the recreational sports program. The International Association of Business Communicators is hosting an interactive personal branding workshop on November 6
Mounting any theatrical production takes collaboration. Directors, producers, designers, technicians, and many other artists need to get on the same page in order to create a cohesive product. When a musical is in rehearsal, the choreographer’s job is among the most critical: he or she has to figure out how the group of performers can move in exciting, efficient and attractive ways.
For the second year in a row, the Ithaca College Collegiate Chapter of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) has invited a respected pedagogue and performer to visit our campus and interact with our organization. On November 8 and 9, 2012, pianist Alan Huckleberry of the University of Iowa will join us to present a masterclass and lecture.
Clarinetist Jean Kopperud will be giving a unique class called "On the Edge: Learning to Give Peak Performances", November 7 at 6PM in Ford Hall Auditorium The class teaches performers of all stripes—including actors, musicians and singers, and public speakers such as lawyers and business professionals—methods to ease stage anxiety. The class incorporates the best methods she has gleaned from numerous acting and dance classes, as well personal tips from a life spent before an audience. Any students who might be interested in playing for Ms. Kopperud in the class should contact Richard Faria at

As of Hallowe'en night, with great early support from 40 members of our campus community, we are already 15% of the way to our campus fundraising goal of $65,000! Way to go!
