Oct. 3 is PostponedContributed by Maura Stephens on 09/30/12 Juan González has had to postpone his planned visit to Ithaca on Wednesday because of a back injury that is causing him severe pain; his doctors have advised him not to travel. He is getting medical treatment but may be recuperating for some time. We will be in close touch with him and will reschedule as soon as possible, probably early next semester. Mr. González sends his regrets and best wishes to the Ithaca College and greater communities. He has very kindly arranged for the producer of the film based on his earlier book Harvest of Empire to send us a copy for screening on campus. We're working to set a date and place for that and will keep you posted. We know the whole community joins us in wishing him a speedy recovery.
