Join the squash club! We're looking for new members with or without experience playing squash. A racquet sport background helps but isn't necessary. Anyone is welcome to join. Our club is a mix of total beginners and experienced players.

 Hilary Greenberger of Physical Therapy, is the guest host of the next Faculty Show and Share on Thursday, February 2 at 3:15 pm in the CET (Job 102).

In a collaboration with ITS, 60 short instructional video podcasts were created and distributed on iTunes U to students in the Musculoskeletal Examination and Evaluation course to demonstrate dynamic techniques.  Hilary will share how these clips changed the way students approach the learning process in lab and address the preferences of students regarding convenience and availability on a mobile device.

Each year, two students with majors in the Roy H. Park School of Communications or politics are selected as recipients of the Reginald Simmons '75 Memorial Award. The award allows students to participate in Operation Crossroads Africa (OCA), America's premier cross-cultural exchange program designed to promote understanding of Africa and its culture.

The 2013 OCA summer program runs from June 15 to August 10. Projects are currently scheduled in the following countries: Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Benin, Niger, Senegal and Togo.

A film by Joshua Bonnetta, assistant professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, will have its international premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February.

The public program of the Berlin International Film Festival shows about 400 films per year, mostly international or European premieres. Films of every genre, length, and format find their place in various sections. American Colour was selected for the Forum Expanded section of the festival.

Time magazine has included a book by Nicolas Muellner, an associate professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, on a list of the best photobooks of 2011. Published last October by A-Jump Books, The Amnesia Pavilions depicts Muellner’s return trip to a small city in Eastern Siberia after a 17-year absence.

The list was compiled by the photo editors at Time and a group of photographers and photography experts from around the world.
