Looking for a last minute present for your favorite Potter fan? Or just want to treat yourself with something amazing? Then come to the Harry Potter Alliance's table in the North Foyer to pick up some AWESOME Potter-inspired jewelry, ornaments, pillows, and MORE! We will also have the first round of Yule Ball tickets available for purchase at a limited-time-only lowered price of $8. After break the prices go up to $10 and then $12 at the door (if we have tickets left). 

Tabling days and times: December 12th, 14th, and 16th from 10am to 3pm in the North Foyer of Campus Center. 

In the Harry Potter books, the Yule Ball was a mid-winter dance to celebrate the Triwizard tournament. Our Yule Ball will be a charity concert and dance held in Emerson Suites to raise money for the Finger Lakes Land Trust, which is an environmental organization based in Ithaca. 

The event will be open to the public! RSVP to our event page.

The night will begin with a wizard rock concert from 7pm to 9pm featuring wizard rock artists The Whomping Willows and Lauren Fairweather. Following the concert there will be a DJ and dance from 9pm to midnight. Two events, one ticket!

Ticket Prices:
$8 before winter break 
$10 after winter break and online
$12 at the door

We will begin selling tickets at the $8 price on December 12th, 14th, and 16th from 10am to 3pm in the North Foyer of Campus Center. Tickets will be available online for people not in the Ithaca area soon after the 16th.

If you are purchasing or renting books or sending personal items to campus for next semester, we will be open for you to pick them up on Saturday January 21 and Sunday January 22 from 10:30am - 4:30pm. 

We hold all packages that arrive during break for returning students.  Order away and pick up your packages on the weekend when you return to campus!

The Ithaca College School of Music was honored to present its premiere ensembles, the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Choir as the opening concert at the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Annual Winter Conference on December 1.  In honor of the conference, first held at Ithaca College in 1932, over 200 School of Music students created a special night of music in Rochester.

Scott Thomson, of Communication Studies, is the guest host of the next Faculty Show and Share on Wed, December 14th, at 11:00 am - noon in the CET (Job 102). 

Students are video recorded as they practice their presentations.  The student uploads their video into Sakai and the instructor uses a video annotation tool, VideoANT to add comments at specific points in the timeline.  Students can easily review these comments on their own time.

Registration is appreciated but not required since it is a small space.
