The program was established in July to protect Ithaca College's name, reputation and identity. It requires that both on-campus and off-campus organizations gain approval through the licensing program in order to use the College's name, logos, nickname, and other protected terms (Ithaca College, IC, Bomber(s), Bomber nation, Ithaca [club/organization name/1892]) on any product.
