Men and women from the varisty crew will be avialble to do work for you on Sunday afternoon, November 6, from 2-5:00 pm.  We can rake leaves, stack wood, paint fences, dig ditches, move furniture, clean garages, pull up docks, clear gutters, or most anything that requires some "horse-power."  The charge is $35 per worker; minimum order is two workers for $70.  Proceeds benefit team members and crew-related activities.

Jennifer Tennant, Assistant Professor of Economics, co-authored "Spillover Effects of the ADA: The Case of Obesity."  The paper will appear in the next edition of the Journal of Disability Studies.  Jennifer joined the Ithaca College faculty this semester.

As a part of Fall Splash, the School of Business and the Women in Business Network student organization are proud to welcome several alumni back to campus for a panel discussion. "Woman and Business" will take place Friday, October 14, 2011 at 3:00pm in BUS 111. Panelists include:

The Center for LGBT Education, Outreach & Services will celebrate its tenth anniversary with a series of events, many of which will be held during Fall Splash/Alumni Weekend.  A panel discussion of alumni spanning five decades at IC, a speaker on intersex issues, an open house,  a toast to LGBTA alumni...even a chance to give back by supporting the Habidash 5K - all this and more awaits.

The hard copy of the 2011-12 Undergraduate Catalog has an error for the date of Fall Break.  In order to eliminate any possible confusion, Fall Break begins on Wednesday, October 19 at 10:00 p.m.  The academic calendars on the website have been and remain correct.

The New York State Music Teachers Association is pleased to invite you to their annual state Conference, held this year on the beautiful campus of Ithaca College, October 21-23.  The Association's conference committee, with the invaluable leadership of Dr. Diane Birr, Ithaca College School of Music Professor, has been working hard planning the workshops, competitions, seminars, master classes, performances and social events for the weekend. They are pleased that Dr. Benjamin Caton, the President of the MTNA, will attend the Conference, in honor of NYSMTA's 50th anniversary.
