Students who wish to attend the Athletics and Events Center dedication on Saturday, October 15, 2011, may purchase tickets at Alumni Hall between now and Friday, September 30.

Tickets are available to all IC students at the discounted price of $40 each. Just come to the Office of Alumni Relations, located in Alumni Hall (near the main campus entrance), during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. You can pay via cash, credit card, or a check made out to Ithaca College.

Students Today Alumni Tomorrow is looking for student groups who would like to connect with their alumni.  We are hosting a student “organization fair” as part of Fall Splash.  It will be similar to the student activities fair done in Emerson Suites except on a much smaller and more intimate level.

The Ithacan is looking for an online editor to plan (in cooperation with the paper’s section editors), coordinate and edit The Ithacan Online’s daily stories. Duties include identifying and assigning stories to reporters and photos to photographers, editing the stories and uploading them to the paper’s WordPress-based website.

Journalism experience and a thorough knowledge of Associated Press style are required. Knowledge of WordPress and search engine optimization strategies are also desirable. Six hours per week at $9 an hour. We are seeking to fill this position as soon as possible.

All faculty and staff are welcome to attend a Pathways training to learn to identify and respond to a student who might be experiencing distress.  We appreciate your willingness to learn crisis response skills before you need them.

Max Dimoff, the principal bassists with the Cleveland Orchestra will be giving a master class on Friday in Hockett Recital Hall from 4:30 - 6:30, and then he'll be playing a solo recital in Hockett Recital Hall on Saturday at 4:00 in the afternoon.
