Free and open to the public, the film will be shown at 6 p.m. in Textor 103 The inspirational story of everyday heroes, nurses and caregivers who took extraordinary action to comfort, protect and care for the patients of the first AIDS ward unit in the United States. They built Ward 5B in 1983 at San Francisco General Hospital and created care practices based in humanity and holistic well-being during a time of great uncertainty. (32 words) Because of expected difficult travel weather later this weekend, Ithaca College residence halls will open early from Thanksgiving Break. Resident students who wish to return to campus before the scheduled Sunday noon opening should register on the Residential Life website. Towers Marketplace will be open for dinner, with meal swipes accepted, from 5-7 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, Terrace Dining Hall will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., and Campus Center Dining Hall will open for dinner at 4:30 p.m. as scheduled.
