The Wellness Clinic will re-open for the semester at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31. If you would like to become a member, go to our website (ithaca.edu/wellness) and follow the "Join The Clinic" link. Fill out the health history form, which will automatically be e-mailed to us. We will get back in touch with you.

Group Exercise classes will begin on Tuesday, September 6th (the Clinic is closed on September 5th in observance of Labor Day). All classes (except Pilates) are included free with your membership. If you would like to ONLY participate in group exercise classes, we offer that type of membership as well. This semester we will be offering some great classes .

We now offer payroll deduction for payment of dues. If you would like this option, drop by the Clinic or give us a call for more details (274-1301).

We look forward to seeing all new and returning members.

If you intend to graduate in May 2012, please be sure to apply for your degree prior to November 18th. This will ensure verification on when you plan to graduate, how your name will appear on your diploma, and where your diploma should be mailed. Your application also verifies your program(s) of study, along with minors and concentrations.

An online plagiarism detection service called Turnitin is now available to faculty who wish to have students' papers analyzed for originality against a database of web pages, articles, and student papers.  ITS is organizing two information sessions and workshops for faculty considering using Turnitin this semester.

Over the summer, all eClassroom computers were connected to the new Ithaca College computer network (developed as part of the NSRA project). eClassroom users should experience no functional changes. The computers will continue to use auto-login and users will continue to manually login to Novell to access files stored on Memphis, Pulsar or Nova.

In its continuing effort to improve service and reduce the amount of paper used, the Office of the Registrar has updated and revised its paper forms. 

The forms are now online fill in forms (in Adobe PDF) and easy to use. Simply click on one of the form links on our website, enter all required information, print out the form, obtain the necessary signature(s), and submit the form to our office. 

The forms for faculty and staff are password protected and require a valid faculty or staff member Netpass Username and Password to log in and access them.

All copies of old forms should be recycled and the new forms used immediately.

The new forms can be accessed on the Office of the Registrar website: https://www.ithaca.edu/registrar/ by scrolling down to find links for “Forms for Students” and “Forms for Faculty and Staff” on the left panel.

The Roy H. Park School of Communications will be closing at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 19 for an all-school retreat off campus.  We will re-open on Monday, August 22 at 8:00 .am.

Make a difference this semester.  This service-learning course allows students to experience music with incarcerated youth at the MacCormick Center. Students from any major are welcome to learn alongside the residents, creating a hands-on opportunity to build community through the use of drum circles. No musical experience necessary. Pre-requisites: Junior Standing. 0 - 2 credits. (F, IRR).

The deadline for 33rd Annual Choral Composition Contest has been extended to September 10, 2011.  The Robert Campbell ’40, M.S. ’50 Endowed Choral Composition Prize will be awarded to the first place winner, sponsored by Ithaca College School of Music and the Roger Dean Publishing Company.
