Neon Dance Party

The hottest dance party is coming to Ithaca College this Spring! Get ready to be surrounded by blacklights, glowsticks, and blazing beats.

Sponsored by the Ithaca College Ballroom Dance Team and club lights doanted by The Oasis Dance Club- this party is sure to get you moving.

 

This dance party will take place in the transformed Aerobics Room in the Fitness Center. Doors open at 8:30


Admission is $3 or 2 people for $5! Glow sticks will also be for sale.

Be sure to wear your neon colors to come alive in the light!

Professor Zillah Eisenstein (Politics) has been invited to serve on the new International Advisory Council of ENGENDER, located in Mowbray, Capetown, South Africa.

The title of the show is "Comedy in the Cosmos" and features a series of paintings and drawings. A reception will be held on Friday, March 4 from 5:00-8:00pm; wine and refreshments will be served. CTB is located at 203 North Aurora Street.

Student Employees may nominate supervisors whom they feel warrant particular recognition for their performance on the job.

Incorporated, will be on campus to deliver the Distinguished Alumni Lecture in the School of Business. The lecture will take place at 6:30 p.m. in Room 111 of the Dorothy D. and Roy H. Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise. The topic of Dayna’s talk is “The Challenges and Characteristics of Success: Navigating Today’s Business World.” The Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series is sponsored by Tompkins Trust Company.

The Ithaca College Student Chapter of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) has won the national award for Outstanding Student Chapter for an unprecedented 3rd time in a row since the bi-annual award was established in 1978.

Associate Professor Jennifer Jolly was invited to speak at Trinity College in San Antonio, Texas, as part of their annual Stieren Arts Enrichment Series. She presented a talk entitled, "Creating Pátzcuaro: Art, Tourism, and the Mexican State in Michoacán's Lake District, 1930-1945."  While in San Antonio, she also participated in a community seminar on public murals in San Antonio.
