Are you knowledgeable on a topic that could be beneficial to student leaders and student organizations? The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs is looking for faculty/staff/students who are willing to present a workshop for our Leading @ IC program. Volunteer to share your expertise with the Ithaca College community. Some examples or presentations include: running a program on a budget, fundraising, or how to make a smooth executive board transition. However, we are looking for any topic that will relate to student organizations. For more information please contact Theresa Radley, the Assistant Director of Student Involvement, at tradley@ithaca.edu.

The NAMS minor may be particularly valuable to students pursuing careers in communications, education, multicultural outreach, human services, medicine, and the social sciences. Every May during the 2 week session Service Learning in Native America is offered (ANTH 14500) where students learn about Native culture, help out, and even visit with buffalo on the Onondaga Nation.

Friday Nov. 5 at 7pm in Textor 101

 

Come join the Harry Potter Alliance and watch The Final Battle - the first public screening since its performance this summer in Orlando, FL! The Final Battle is a musical based on the last 200 pages of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It was written and directed by Ithaca College senior Lena Gabrielle Weinstein.

Admission is free!

There will be a short talkback following the screening.

Lena will be selling the "Songs from The Final Battle" CD [$10] and taking limited-edition t-shirt orders [$15] after the show.

On the last Friday of every month, the IC Harry Potter Alliance would like to invite the IC community to take part in Magical Acts of Kindness Day! 

 

The hope for Magical Acts of Kindness Day is to encourage people to show love and appreciation to those around them. Acts can be anything: small or big, anonymous or public.

Need some ideas? You could bake cookies for your roommates, send your mom flowers, or donate food to a local food pantry.
