On Monday, November 2, the Catholic Community will celebrate Mass at 12:10pm and 5:30pm for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls).  Faculty, staff, students, family and friends who have died will be especially remembered.  At each Mass, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be offered for all who are physically, emotionally or spiritually in need of healing.  All are welcome.

The Bomber volleyball team will take advantage of this weekend’s Regional Challenge, Ithaca’s final home tournament of the regular season, to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research and treatment. The team will be hosting “Play for Pink” at Saturday and Sunday’s matches, and will be accepting donations as well as conducting a silent auction in support for the cause. All proceeds will go to the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, and will help local women and their families affected by the disease.

Please submit your photos of your home/home town, of your family or friends, and you have at least one picture from a birthday party or a wedding or another celebration. The deadline for submissions is on October 30th at 5 pm. We are looking for photos which:

* Feature People, Places, or Transportation

Budget planning for 2010/2011 is upon us and there is positive news from the United States Postal Service about postage rates for the classes of mail used most frequently by Ithaca College. 

The Postmaster General announced last week that First class postage rates, Non-profit and Periodical postage would not be increased in May 2010. In previous years the rate increases for these mail classes were announced in February and would be implemented in May of that year. The next potential increase to these classes of mail would be in 2011.
