The fourth-annual Blood and Gorges Film Festival will kick off the Halloween spirit and unite the campus in the pursuit of scary cinema productions.  The contest is as much an open forum in the creation of short films as it is a celebration of the horror genre.

At the beginning of October, groups of students will form by their own choice, and will be given until the end of the month to complete their project. The films will be written, shot and edited within the time constraint from the beginning of the semester until the festival screening. The final exhibition will coincide with Halloween weekend in the Park Auditorium, complete with Lobby decorations, candy and prizes. At the end of the screening, each short film will be judged by the entire audience in terms of its
effectiveness in the horror genre and the quality of the work.
