Ithaca College’s student-operated radio station, WICB-FM, teamed up with local music store McNeil Music of Ithaca to raise over $1,500 for Loaves and Fishes by raffling off a signed guitar package at Grassroots 2009.

The annual contest organized by “The Station for Innovation” surpassed previous years’ records and this year’s goal.

There are still seats available for the 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. sections. The subsequent 17-week series is scheduled to start Tuesday, August 18. We need a minimum of 20 prepaid participants per section to make it official. 

The initial series that began in April has been great! One of our members has reached Lifetime status and another one is very close to doing so; several of our members are enjoying a tremendous amount of success with Weight Watchers' Momentum program, at the scale and in other facets of their lives; and the entire group has the support we need -- from our awesome leader and each other -- to reach our individual goals.
