On Sunday, May 17, Ithaca College's 114th Commencement exercises will be held. Many of us have had daily contact with the fine young men and women of the 2009 graduating class, and have played an important role in their experience at Ithaca College.
To ensure that the Commencement exercises are carried out in an orderly, distinguished manner, we are requesting your help to serve as an usher. This function is vital as many guests are not familiar with the College, its buildings, and their locations. Duties will vary according to your specific assignment. Program distribution, guest seating, answering questions and giving directions are all things that you could be called upon to do to help maintain a dignified and orderly ceremony.
