The Northeast Horn Workshop will be held March 13-15 at the Ithaca College School of Music, featuring classes, performances, and lectures all about the French horn.

Two of the concerts will be free and open to the public:

  • On Friday, March 13, at 8:15 in the Hockett Family Recital Hall, there will be works by Jeff Myers, Wolfgang Plagge, Gerard Grisey and others, performed by Laura Klock, William Hite, Gregory Hayes, Janine Gaboury, Josh Phillips, and Nathan Koci.
  • On Sunday, March 15, at 1:15 in Ford Hall, there will be a concert featuring the mass choir of the participants.

ITS will be upgrading Blackboard on Monday, March 9, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. to Campus Edition 8 (CE8). Blackboard will be unavailable during that time. It is expected that this upgrade will have minimal impact on users -- the look and feel will stay the same!

Joseph Rockhill '04 received the American Advertising Federation's Most Promising Minority Student Rising Star Award at a luncheon reception on February 4 in New York City. The ceremony was attended by leading advertising industry executives from Pepsi, Home Depot, Ad Age magazine, and many global agencies.

While at Ithaca, Rockhill majored in television-radio with a concentration in advertising and public relations. He currently serves as an account supervisor on the Verizon account at McCann Worldwide in New York City.
