You may have heard the media buzz that Ithaca Carshare has now fully launched its local carsharing service. One of the first Ithaca Carshare vehicle placements in this region is right here on campus. And unlike most car rental programs, Ithaca Carshare membership is open to students 18 and over.

The "America's Best Colleges" issue of U.S. News and World Report has ranked Ithaca College among the top 10 master's universities in the north for the 12th consecutive year. I am pleased to announce that the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies (DIIS) has a new home in the Center for Health Sciences, room 214-1. The office houses dean Tanya R. Saunders; assistant dean Mary Turner DePalma; and Rosalie Fitzgerald, assistant to the dean.

This move unites some of the units within DIIS including the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) located at 101-CHS, the Office of International Programs (214-2 CHS), and the Gerontology Institute (407-CHS), thus providing a more centralized location for interaction among the programs of the division.
