Flutist Kelly Covert will present a free recital of twentieth-century music of Russia and surrounding countries on Sunday, February 24, at 4:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall.

She will collaborate with pianist Charis Dimaras and violist Debra Moree on music of Taktakishvili, Prokofiev, Denisov, and Gubaidulina.

In a performance called "monumental" by its conductor, the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble will feature John Corigliano's "Circus Maximus," a piece of music which literally surrounds the audience with sound.
