With its 48-21 win at Springfield last Saturday, October 27, the Ithaca College Bomber football squad improved its record to 6-2 and clinched the program's 37th straight winning season. That streak is the second-longest active stretch at any level of college football. (Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, recently secured its 52nd straight winning season).

Through a generous gift, Jay ’72 and Judith ’73 Linden have established the Linden Center for Creativity and Aging in Ithaca College’s Gerontology Institute. The center will explore and encourage ways that creativity and the creative arts can enhance the quality of life for older adults. It will also engage students with elders through mentoring programs and other activities as well as help students become acquainted with careers that will serve this expanding segment of the population. An Ithaca College employee has been honored by the Ithaca Rotary Club with a "Pride of Workmanship" award. Groundskeeper Victor Rosa was one of four local residents recognized at the October 31 award ceremony at the Holiday Inn.
