IC Walking in LA AIDS Walk

Contributed by Melissa Gattine on 10/12/07

Students, staff and alums of the ICLA program will be walking on October 21 in AIDS Walk Los Angeles 2007.

Now in its 22nd year, the Walk raises critical funding for AIDS Project Los Angeles and other AIDS education, support and prevention programs throughout Los Angeles County. These programs provide health services, hope and encouragement to the thousands of women, men and children who live with the mental, physical and social consequences of this disease. They also work hard at stopping the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Team Ithaca College Bombers would welcome your donations! You can reach the team's fundraising webpage by visiting http://aidswalklosangeles2007.kintera.org/faf/search/searchTeamPart.asp?ievent=232259&lis=...0C&team=2012001 and then selecting a team member to receive your donations. To learn more about the AIDS Walk, visit their website at http://www.aidswalk.net/losangeles.

For Ithaca College staff or faculty members who completed the GE Corporate Payment Services procurement and/or travel card online application process and had their application approved before October 5, you may have already received your travel cards or you will be receiving them by early this week. (Previously we stated that all cards would be mailed directly to cardholder campus addresses.)

Instead, travel cards will still be mailed to cardholder campus addresses, but for cardholders who applied during the initial enrollment period, procurement cards will be mailed directly to the Accounts Payable office and then distributed to your campus address.
