Together, these two faculty have contributed over eight decades of service to the college, graduating hundreds of students over the years who have made countless and varied contributions to the world of music. We are pleased to announce gifts honoring each of them.

JP Marinelli and his wife Danzey Burnham, parents of School of Music alumnus Will Marinelli ’15, have made a gift honoring Gordon that establishes a fund for percussion upgrades.  This fund supports the renovations of a percussion practice room and the purchase of additional percussion equipment.

We are also pleased to announce the creation of the Steve Mauk Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship was established by friends, family, colleagues, and former students of Dr. Mauk, and will be awarded annually to a saxophone student with demonstrated financial need.

We celebrate Steve and Gordon and express gratitude for those who have come forward to honor them with these gifts.
